This recipe is a Henry tradition in the summer. It is so refreshing on a Hot summer day. It's so delicious and once you try this one you'll have cravings for it all summer long! I made it las weekend for company and of course forgot to take a picture of it, but definitely give this one a whirl next time you are in the mood for something refreshing and super yummy!

Caramel Ice Cream Dessert
Crust: 
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 sticks margarine melted
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
  • Mix above and pat onto cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. 
  • Crumble while hot with a fork. 
  • Place 1/2 mixture in a 9X13 baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam.
  • Press into pan forming a crust. 
- 2 (8 oz) jars kraft caramel sauce
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
  • Drizzle one jar of caramel sauce over crust. 
  • Spoon softened ice cream on top of caramel sauce. Top with remaining crumb mixture. 
  • Place in freezer long enough for it to harden. 
  • Drizzle the second jar of carmel sauce over the top. 
  • Cover and freeze. 
  • Let soften 15 minutes before serving.
